The War
Dear friends and colleagues!
Thank you for supporting Ukraine!
Each of you has your own opinion about the war taking place on the territory of Ukraine. That is normal.
Today is the eighth day of the war, an extremely terrible and brutal war. Russian fascist troops are bombing Ukraine with cruise missiles, Iskander ballistic missiles, and artillery; they are shelling cities with tanks and destroying bridges. They are firing on and bombing hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and orphanages. Yesterday they bombed the Central Railway Station, where children are being evacuated, and they are taking food, fuel, and clothing. The war has united everyone in the country. The blitzkrieg has failed! The army is defending the country and the entire world from this plague.
All instructors of the Central Dojo of the Aikido Aikikai Association of Ukraine from nearby cities are together! Other students of ours are fighting as well. We are on the front line of the war. We have everything except technical equipment. We are raising funds for thermal imaging devices, ammunition, helmets, video surveillance equipment, drones, fire extinguishers, fuel, and sleeping bags. Everything is for the protection of our people and the civilian population.
We are not attacking — we are defending ourselves! And we will win! After the war, we invite everyone to Kyiv. We are friendly and hospitable!
Friends, if possible, please help us, just as we all helped to build the monument to O Sensei in Japan. All funds received from you will be used only to protect our people and the civilian population, and to provide medical treatment. Every dollar or euro means protective clothing, fire extinguishers, surveillance equipment, and saving lives.
On this website, we will record the receipt and expenditure of every dollar and euro. The information will be publicly available.
